Matt and Stephanie Engaged
On their one year anniversary of dating, last night Matt proposed to Stephanie near the banks of the Detroit River! Early in the week Stephanie got drift of the upcoming proposal when Matt made a surprise visit to her parent’s house to receive their blessing. Stephanie found out of the visit but could not accept Matt’s excuses for the visit. For the rest of the week she began dropping hints to Matt that she was on to his plan. Matt decided to put a little twist in the evening. He purchased a cheap gaudy ring from Target and first “proposed” with this ring. Stephanie was taken back when she was given the ring and said she couldn’t accept it. Later, Matt proposed again with the real ring box and Stephanie thought it was the fake ring again. But obviously when this box was opened it was the real thing and she accepted! We are excited to have Stephanie become a part of our family.
